Next Tuesday night I’ll be playing at Sydney’s Sin é, Cafe Lounge at 630pm. This is a gorgeous venue, with one of the best rosters of Australian songwriters performing regularly. I’m really looking forward to performing there. If you plan on going along, get in early for a beer, order some food and sit back and let me entertain you!
I’ve booked a show at Bar Me Jazz Club in Kings Cross on Wednesday August 12th. I’m delighted to announce that Jack Carty will be special guest on the night. The last time we both played together was in the same venue, and alot of fun (and beers) were had. Jack is (in my opinion) one of the best upcoming songwriters in Australia and the moment. If you sign up to the mailing list before the show – you get $2 off the ticket price.
Back in Ireland, I have been really busy working on a new project with Luan Parles manager, Noel Taylor. The project is called Music Box for Life, where we will have the best 40 songwriters and bands in Ireland donate a single track. We’ll bundle the 40 songs together into different packs at different prices, and all the money goes towards Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin, Ireland. You can check out the website at www.musicboxforlife.com. I’ve donated the title track from my EP ‘Hide and Seek’ to the cause, as has Colin Devlin, Luan Parle and a few others. The full list of artists will be released in the coming weeks! Check the website to see how you can get involved!
